This coming weekend, the 21st to 23rd of September, Ocean Racing Technology will take part in the final round of the 2012 GP2 Championship Series in Singapore. Nigel Melker and Victor Guerin both aspire to finish the season with two good results after what has been a quite demanding and very competitive season. The final round will be held at night giving it some very unique features, however the entire technical team at Ocean is quite accustomed to them. Melker is optimistic for a successful outcome: “I want to have two very good races and return to good views. The last two races were difficult and I hope that I can counter that this weekend. The races will be a different than usual, but I am optimistic about my adaptation and eager to get out on track,” said the Dutchman.

Victor Guerin will once again head into the unknown with the Singapore track a new venue for him. However he maintains a positive spirit: “It will be all new, the track, the weather and the fact that the race takes place at night, but I hope to adapt well and have two good races. I have been learning a lot in GP2 with Ocean and I would really like to compile everything I have learned and apply it to these two races and get my first points in the Championship. It would be the best way to end the season,” concluded the Brazilian driver.

The races can be followed live on Sky Sports on Saturday at 9:55am and on Sunday at 10:05am.
