Read everything about the 2012 season in the Formula 3 guide, which is available now. The yearbook is much more than a reference book, providing complete information about the ATS Formula 3 Cup as well as the Formula 3 Euro Series, FIA Formula 3 European Championship and Austria Formula 3 Cup. A total of 124 pages include starter lists with pictures of all drivers and cars, results of the practice sessions and races and more than 500 colour photos. The ATS Formula 3 Cup and Austria Formula 3 Cup race reports are written in German, the Formula 3 Euro Series and Formula 3 European Championship race reports in English. The yearbook also features scores and detailed overviews and provides an interesting review and portraits of all champions of Germany and the GDR since 1948.
Passion for the Formula 3
This is the 19th edition of the Formula 3 guide. The author, Wolfgang Neumayer from Munich, is considered a walking encyclopaedia in the scene. The 49-year old has been a member of the board of the Formula 3 Association and in charge of the finances since the end of 2012. Over the years, the yearbook in its current form developed from an initially purely statistical work. Wolfgang Neumayer is in charge of the whole process, including the compilation of contents, layout, printing, sales and shipping. “My initial hobby became a genuine task; on the one hand, providing a nearly complete documentation of Formula 3 history since 1948 and, on the other hand, supporting and promoting the current Formula 3 in every possible way,” explains Wolfgang Neumayer. “It is definitely worth the effort, especially seeing that journalists like motorsports legend Rainer Braun are looking forward to the yearbook. There is even a real fan base.”
