The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport optimistic before the fourth season event
The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin aims for wins and podium placing at the fourth season event of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with the races 10 to 12 this weekend (17th to 19th of May) in Brands Hatch (England). „Wins and podium placings are always our goal. Sometimes it works out well and sometimes it does not. I think we are well prepared and we will fight for that”, team principal Peter Mücke said, whose racing stable scored three wins so far as well as two second and two third positions. The crew from berlin is on second position at the team ranking.
Felix Rosenqvist as one out of the four drivers for kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport is on second position at the driver’s ranking of the European Championship. The Swede in his Dallara-Mercedes race car won two times so far, lastly at the season run nine on the Hockenheimring at the beginning of May. Before that he finished first, second and third in Silverstone. „It is not easy for our pilots to overtake during the race in Brands Hatch on the only about 2 km long track. So it is even more important to get good starting positions at the qualifying, if you want to score a podium placing.“
To score great placings at the front of the field at qualifying didn’t work out lastly in Hockenheim for the pilots of the racing stable from the German capital city, because of very hard conditions with rain and wet track. So the Australian Mitchell Gilbert, the US American Michael Lewis and the Israeli Roy Nissany (all Dallara Mercedes) clearly missed the points ranking. „To score some points should be the main goals for all of the three drivers in Brands Hatch“, team principal Peter Mücke said. „They definitely have the potential to accomplish that. Altogether, we are optimistic for the races on the British island.“
