The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin will be on start at the prestigious „RTL GP Masters of Formula 3“ with three drivers of the Formula 3 European Championship, a Japanese guest driver and a lot of hope for the title. The race is scheduled for coming weekend (5th to 7 th of July) in Zandvoort (Netherlands). When Felix Rosenqvist (Sweden) and Michael Lewis (USA) already took part at the Masters, Roy Nissany (Israel) will swim in uncharted waters. Yuhi Sekiguchi from Japan will be a guest driver for the Mücke team, who already took part at the Formula 3 Grand Prix of Macau in 2011 and finished fourth with the racing stable from the German capital city. Kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport already scored two wins at the most important Formula 3 race in Europe on the 4.307 km long track in the dunes of the North Sea in Zandvoort: 2003 the winner has been the Austrian Christian Klien and in 2011 Felix Rosenqvist.

And the 21 year old Swede is a promising candidate for the title again at his third Masters start. „Felix has already been very successful at the prestigious Formula 3 Masters in Zandvoort. He knows the track well and certainly is one of the favourites. We count on him, not least because he is very successful at the current season of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship on overall position two. His three wins lastly at the beginning of June on the Red Bull Ring in Austria proofed that impressively“, team principal Peter Mücke said. And for Felix Rosenqvist „It feels great to be back on the RTL GP Masters of Formula 3 grid again this year, considering our recent form in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship – we have reason to be optimistic about our chances. Still, I am absolutely convinced that this will mark a real challenge for us“, he said.

His team colleague Michael Lewis agrees. „It’s very special to return to this historic race for the second time in my career. I look to improve on my results from the 2012 Masters where I finished P8. Regarding the Kumho tires, it’s the same for everyone and I am confident in my kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport guys to get the car working well. All l I have to do is lay down a fast lap, and go for it“, the 22 year old said.

The Israeli Roy Nissany, who is on track at the Formula 3 for the first time this year and who already finished two times in the points ranking of the European Championship, is looking forward to his debut at the Masters. „I am glad to take part in this traditional race weekend. I am sure that our team will do a good job and show a high performance“, the 18 year old said, who already raced on the track in Zandvoort once at the ADAC Formula Masters last year and finished fifth.

Everybody of the the racing stable from the German capital city is happy about the reunion with Yuhi Sekiguchi. The by now 25 year old, who was the Japanese Formula 3 champion in 2011, is on track at the Super GT Series of his home country in the class GT500 (2012 tenth at the class GT300) at the moment. „Yuhi showed a great performance in Macau two years ago. I think that he will be able to have a great result in Zandvoort now as well with all the experience he gathered since that time“, team principal Peter Mücke said. The first important thing for all of the four drivers of the team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport is to be as far as possible at the front of the field at the qualifying. „This is very important, because it is extremely difficult to overtake in Zandvoort“, Peter Mücke explained.
