The nearly two month ADAC Formula Masters summer break has finally come to an end for the drivers of Berlin Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport. This coming weekend (2nd to 4th August) will see the German Capitol’s racing team in action with races ten to twelve  at the fourth event of the high carat junior series which takes place at the Nürburgring. At the start are the team’s five talents Alessio Picariello (Belgium), Hendrik Grapp (Berlin), Maximilian Günther (Rettenberg), Kim Luis Schramm (Wümbach) and Giorgio Maggi (Switzerland), with the lead in both, driver (Picariello)  and team ratings.
“We have every intention to continue on with the excellent performances to date. Our boys are raring to go to be in action right at the front again with their 145 horsepower Formula ADAC racers powered by Volkswagen”, says team manager Peter Mücke. “The break was fairly long but we weren’t idle during the time and continued on with focused driver training and further tests. I believe that drivers and the team are well equipped to achieve great results again at the Nürburgring.”

Great results were seen in abundance on 8th and 9th June at the Sachsenring where Team kfzteile24 Mücke drove in two victories and two runner up places for the ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg. First places went to Alessio Picariello, scoring his fifth season victory and for the first time this year Hendrik Grapp, who also finished as second and climbed up to an overall third place in the table. Rookie Maximilian Günther, sponsored by the ADAC Sports Foundation, also finished as second and as fifth also ranks high in the driver listings. Kim Luis Schramm collected his first Formula racing  points ever as ninth and tenth while rookie Giorgio Maggi came close to point ratings once again.

“We are convinced that our continuous and intense driver training will continue to bear fruits. They all gathered essential experience during the first half of the season and learned invaluable lessons”, explains Peter Mücke. “Now, they obviously want to reap the rewards of their hard work, just like the entire team.”
