SPEED EuroSeries – Dijon Event Cancellation

The SPEED EuroSeries organisers, following insufficient entry confirmations, have informed the Dijon event promoter that the series will NOT be racing at the 6-8 September event. This means that scheduled Spa Francorchamps event on 27 – 29th September will be the final remaining races of the season  on the 2013 schedule. – “We aim to provide promoters and suppliers with good grids to entertain spectators and generate business and unfortunately the entry committments we were getting were not sufficient to justify running. Its clearly disappointing for eveyone concerned as Dijon is a great racers track and the promoter had done well to build a strong meeting,” says Oli McCrudden, series coordinator. “We now look forward to a grand finale at Spa which is always a strong event and we are working on a commercial partnership AND an influx of competitors from a second sports prototype grid which will ensure that SPEED finishes in style.”
