The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport wants to use the chance for the title …
Thrilling atmosphere right before the end of the season: The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin lines up for the finale of the Formula 3 European Championship with chances to score the title this weekend (18th to 20th of October) on the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg, where the season runs 28 to 30 will be held. And everybody of the racing stable from the German capital city and their fans keep their fingers crossed for the Mücke pilot Felix Rosenqvist from Sweden to score the championship title.
The initial position is set: 389.0:434.5 is the actual status before the last three races from the Mücke pilot’s viewpoint. Means, 45.5 points deficit for the 21 year old Swede to catch up to the Italian frontrunner Raffaele Marciello (both Dallara Mercedes) to become Formula 3 European Champion. This is not impossible and Felix Rosenqvist proofed that already twice: on the Red Bull Ring in Austria (1st/2nd of June) and on the course in the dunes of the North Sea in Zandvoort (Netherland, 28th/29th of September), the Swede scored more points to his title combatant than he misses now – namely 61 or 63. „This is going to be hard work. Although I have nothing to lose, but can win everything“, the Swede said, who definitely secured the second position of the European Championship already. „Me and my team will try to reach the maximum in Hockenheim.“
And Felix Rosenqvist will get full support by the Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport. Michael Lewis (USA), Roy Nissany (Israel) and Mitchell Gilbert (Australia/all Dallara Mercedes) will also be on start for the Berlin team in Hockenheim. „We will create the best conditions possible for Felix to achieve our common goal “, team principal Peter Mücke said. „Of course it won’t be easy to score the title. But everything is still possible. And we will fight for that. Our cars are very well prepared. Now the duel between the two drivers on track will make the decision. And that will certainly be a thrilling matter. The Formula 3 Showdown in Hockenheim is the icing of the cake at this successful season for our team.“
