The F.Renault 3.5 season came to an end just two days ago, but for ISR it’s already time to think about 2014. The Czech team is still in Barcelona, where the Championship is staging two days of post-season testing, and the first day actually saw ISR perform really well, meeting all the scheduled objectives. For this monday of testing, the Czech outfit’s cars were driven by season regular Sergey Sirotkin and by another Russian driver, the experienced Daniil Move, and both did an amazing job closing the day with the 4th and 7th quickest laptime respectively. A total of 7 hours of running gave the team enough time to work on some new set-up solutions that proved to be aimed in the right direction, preparing the best possible scenario for the second and last day of testing. Loic David (Team manager) “Overall it was a very good day for us. In the morning session, the quickest one, we finished P4 and P7, and then in the afternoon we focused on a very fruitful set-up work, trying some solutions we didn’t have the time to check in the past days. The outcome was as good as we expected, giving our drivers a very quick and balanced car. A red flag in the last few minutes didn’t allow Sergey and Daniil to make the most of that potential, but that doesn’t really matter today”.
