EUROFORMULA RACING SCHOOL – THE ALL NEW FORMULA RENAULT 2014 HAVE ARRIVED!
The Euroformula racing school was founded in 1997, a legacy of the “Privilege Formula” school. Laurent Fradon, its Director, arrived in La Châtre the same year accompanied by his wife Sandra, to head up the Sales department with François Xavier Tourlière’s backing. Since then Laurent has unceasingly developed the business and took the directorship of the business five years ago. Fearless in the face of challenge and with a vision for the future, he has decided, along with his shareholders, to replace the fleet with 10 new Formula Renault 2014 equipped with paddle shift steering wheels!
The Euroformula School, which has trained more than 35,000 students since its inception, took the decision to differentiate from their competition and offer clients an even more thrilling experience, not least amongst them are the young racing drivers who can now train on the same cars as those in the European Formula Renault 2.0 championship.
Laurent Fradon gives us his insight and a summary overview of his years at the head of Euroformula: “When I arrived at La Châtre we had an order book at “0” and we had to rebuild from scratch. The first year was very difficult but we took on the challenge and business picked up. It’s been difficult since 2009 because of the economic crisis but the last few months have shown some growth. The change of fleet will help us maintain that momentum.”
As a leader with a passion who also holds a tight rein, Laurent adds: “We also had to get ahead of our competition, win back young racing drivers who have not come because our old single-seaters are obsolete compared to those in use in all the championships. We also have our Euroformula Club whose members want to get behind the wheel of the later models. Even our “Volant” will benefit from the change of equipment with specific days as we’ll have days when we assign them with an engineer to them to help them improve faster. The new cars will give us the ‘edge’ we need take us to the next level and ensure the future of our business!”
All hands are on deck at the Euroformula School to prepare the Formula Renault 2014 cars with new livery in metallic grey and carbon black, a competition is planned on the website and Facebook with a training course as prize for the best designer!
The Euroformula School does not want to fall into the system of track inductions because its management believe in the future of true single-seater racing schools, with tried and tested training methods recognised by experts giving all their students real added value. All the “Volant” winners have done well these last few years, proof that excellent drivers are coming out of La Châtre.
