Porsche Intelligent Performance On Display In IMSA
The idea of “Intelligent Performance” is at the core of the Porsche brand, and has been embedded in its involvement in motorsports for decades. Even back in the first days of the company, Porsche street and racing cars made intelligent use of lightweight construction to win over often significantly more powerful competitors thus earning the nickname “Giant Killers.”
The 30,000 plus racetrack victories Porsche has earned help prove the principle behind that philosophy.
Motorsports has been and will always be a race laboratory for Porsche. It is where they are able to test visionary technical ideas for their future use in street-legal serial production cars. There is nothing more exciting than seeing, hearing and feeling the GT field race by to the start/finish line and for enthusiasts to have that feeling in mind when opening the door of every Porsche.
Literally spelled out in the shared worldwide livery design, Porsche Intelligent Performance embodies everything it has learned in over 60 years of motorsports competition. During the inaugural 12-race TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season, fans will have many opportunities to witness firsthand Porsche’s Vision, Principle and Spirit.
