kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport 2014 continue with Kim-Luis Schramm in the ADAC Formula Masters
From Rookie to podium candidate: Berlin Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport has placed its trust again into driver Kim-Luis Schramm from Wümbach for the 2014 ADAC Formula Masters season. The German Capitol’s Racing Team, in action for the ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg, added the 16 year old from Thuringia once again to its driver pool for the high carat junior series. Kim-Luis Schramm, having sat into a racing kart for the first time eleven years ago and who completed a preparations and training year for the Formula racing sports with Mücke Motorsport in 2012, achieved an ADAC Formula Masters runner up place at Austria’s Red Bull Ring in the previous season, entered the top ten on several occasions and was listed overall 14th at the close of season.
“Kim-Luis gained invaluable experience as ADAC Formula Masters rookie this past year. His steady progression from one race to the next were evident with the podium place and further good placements”, said team manager Peter Mücke. “Having seen him in this year’s first trials, we can be confident that Kim-Luis will be capable to step onto the podium more often this season. We are looking forward to continuing the work with him and hope for a successful season for him and our entire team.”
Kim-Luis Schramm shares this hope. The student who attends the Goethe Grammar School in Ilmenau has been fully supported on his motorsports journey from the word go by his mother Katja, father Mario and his sister Maja-Laurien, wants to experience the “incredible feeling to stand on the podium” even more often in the new season. “I learned a lot this past year. My Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport gave me all the support and encouragement I need to push forward – from mechanics over the racing engineers to team manager Peter Mücke. I intend to pay back all the trust and work invested in me by achieving excellent results”, says the young Thuringian who aims for the overall top five. “I can’t wait to be back in the racing car and start the season. We’ll know exactly where we are then”, states Kim-Luis Schramm who has been undergoing trials with the team in Zandvoort since Sunday 23rd March.
Kim-Luis Schramm is the fifth driver announced by the Mücke racing team for the 2014 ADAC Formula Masters season. He was preceded by last year’s vice champion Maximilian Günther (Rettenberg) in his second year with Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport and Swiss Giorgio Maggi (also in his second year as well as newcomer Marvin Dienst (Lampertheim, last year’s fifth) and Philip Hamprecht (Hagen). Benjamin Mazatis (Bruckmühl) was signed as test driver and is scheduled for entry into the junior series as Mücke driver in 2015.
This year’s ADAC Formula Masters season starts from 25th to 27th April in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The schedule includes eight racing weekends with a total of 24 rated races.
