The 24H SERIES powered by Hankook, a series of endurance races for GTs, touring cars and 24H Specials, can be considered as one of the recent success stories in international motorsport. Organised by Dutch agency, CREVENTIC, in co-operation with DNRT (Dutch National Racing Team), the events are attractive for professional and semi-professional drivers, but also for gentlemen drivers and amateurs. A wide variety of cars, from GT3 sports cars to compact hatchbacks, can be accommodated. A former club racer himself, CREVENTIC’s Gerrie Willems knows what drivers and teams want: “It is our goal to let as many people as possible enjoy the fascination of motor racing together,” he says. “And while doing so, we can also discover some nice cities and countries. That is the concept of our 24H SERIES powered by Hankook, which is getting stronger and stronger.”

The Hankook 24H DUBAI that will see its tenth running from 8 till 10 January, 2015, is the flagship event of the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook. With the 12H ITALY-MUGELLO, that had its successful debut on 14 and 15 March, and the Hankook 12H ZANDVOORT that will be held on 30 and 31 May, two new events were added to the portfolio for this year. The 24H BARCELONA (5 till 7 September) and the Hankook 12H HUNGARY (3 and 4 October) are already firmly established on the calendar. “All of these races are the result of our good co-operation with the management and staff of the respective circuits, Dubai Autodrome, the Mugello Circuit, Circuit Park Zandvoort, the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona and the Royal Automobile Club of Catalunya RACC and the Hungaroring,” Gerrie Willems points out.

All the events are separate races, so teams can enter for each race individually, but regulations and class structures are identical for all the events. Aspects that all the races have in common are the good, convivial and international atmosphere in the pits and the paddock and the opportunity to visit some nice cities and regions in combination with the events. If required, CREVENTIC can provide high-quality on-site catering, tailor-made travel packages and transport solutions for the teams. For the race in Dubai, standard transport of cars and equipment to Dubai and back is included in the entry fee.

“There is a lot of interest for the various events, so we strongly advise teams who want to race with us to submit their entries quickly,” Gerrie Willems says. “We want to see competitive racing in all classes and want to accommodate as many drivers and cars as possible. Everyone has to get a chance to make it onto the podium and to enjoy a great racing experience.” There is good media coverage for the races with a dedicated social media team on site for all the events. The races can be followed on Facebook (facebook.com/24hseries), Twitter (@24hseries) and the website www.24hseries.com. In Zandvoort and Dubai, Motors TV and the expert commentary team from Radio Show Limited, the people behind Radiolemans.com, will be on site.
