The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport on start at the FIA Formula 3 European Championship
One race after another is scheduled for the German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin: After the first victory and further good placings at the German opening of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship on the 3rd and 4th of May on the Hockenheimring, the third season event is scheduled for coming weekend (9th to 11th of May). The season runs seven to nine will be held on the 2.7 km long city course of Pau (France). The three drivers of the racing stable from the German capital city want to knot on to their great performance of Hockenheim. The Austrian Lucas Auer scored the first win for Mücke Motorsport this year and finished two times on position four and is now on the fourth position of the drivers ranking. The Swede Felix Rosenqvist scored some points as well and is on overall position ten at the moment. And the Israeli Roy Nissany scored his first points last time on position eight.
„Of course, we will try to knot on to the great performance of Hockenheim in Pau. In Germany, our drivers and our cars proofed that they are able to score positions on the podium“, team principal Peter Mücke said. „The very short city course in France is quite tough and has its own difficulties. The right setup of the cars and full concentration of the drivers will already be necessary at the Qualifying.“ Furthermore, the fight about the championship title at the Formula 3 European Championship is „the hardest so far this year“, Peter Mücke explained. There have been five different winners in only six races so far.
„We really have to work hard to find the right setup for each racing weekend for the aimed positions at the front of the field. In Pau, only thousands of a second could make a difference in the high class driver’s field. These seconds could even make the difference between points ranking and rankings without any points at all“, Peter Mücke said. „We will have to adapt ourselves to that matter.“ The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport is on overall second position of the Team Championship at the moment.
