BLANCPAIN ENDURANCE SERIES: LE FERRARI 458 ITALIA DI AF CORSE IN CORSA PER IL TITOLO NELLA GTR
Peter Mann, Filipe Barreiros e Francisco Guedes entrano sempre più di diritto tra i pretendenti al titolo Gentleman Trophy (GTR) del Blancpain Endurance Series 2014. Dopo il terzo posto nella gara inaugurale del campionato, a Monza, i tre piloti sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 51 di AF Corse sono riusciti a chiudere in seconda posizione l’appuntamento di Silverstone, step numero due della serie endurance. Alla luce di questi risultati, i tre sono secondi in campionato con 33 punti. Anche i compagni di squadra Howard Blank, Yannick Mallegol e Jean Marc Bachelier si stanno giocando le posizioni di vertice del Blancpain Endurance Series 2014. Grazie al quarto posto agguantato a Silverstone sulla loro Ferrari 458 Italia numero 49, l’esperto trio è attualmente quarto in campionato (24 punti). Passando alla categoria Pro Am, Andrea Sonvico, Andrew Danyliw e Simon Knap sulla Ferrari numero 50 hanno chiuso in dodicesima posizione. Risultato al di sotto del loro potenziale ma che non pregiudica la corsa al titolo. In classifica di campionato, i tre piloti sono settimi con 15 punti. La prossima gara del Blancpain Endurance Series sarà sul circuito del Paul Ricard, a Le Castellet, il 29 giugno.
BLANCPAIN ENDURANCE SERIES:THE AF CORSE FERRARI 458 ITALIAS AIM FOR THE TITLE IN GTR Peter Mann, Filipe Barreiros and Francisco Guedes are more and more among the pretenders for the Gentleman Trophy (GTR) title of the Blancpain Endurance Series 2014. Following their third position in the opening race at Monza, the three drivers in their AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #51 finished in second position of round 2 at Silverstone last weekend. With these results, they stand currently second in the GTR championship with 33 points. Teammates Howard Blank, Yannick Mallegol and Jean-Marc Bachelier are also fighting for the top positions of the GTR in the continental endurance championship. At Silverstone, the skilled trio was fourth under the chequered flag in the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #49 and now is fourth in the championship 24 points and only 1 point away from third overall. In the GTE Am category, Andrea Sonvico, Andrew Danyliw and Simon Knap in the Ferrari 458 Italia #50 finished twelfth. Whilst the result is below their high potential, it does not affect the road to title. Currently in the championship standing, the three drivers are in seventh position with 15 points. The next round of the Blancpain Endurance Series will be held at the Paul Ricard circuit, at Le Castellet, June 29th.
