The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin is well prepared for the fourth season event of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship coming weekend (30th of May – 1st of June) on the Hungaroring, about 20 km north-eastern of the Hungarian capital city Budapest. The 4.381 km long Formula 1 track is scheduled for the drivers of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship for the first time. „So the course is new to all of the drivers and they all have the same basic position“, team principal Peter Mücke said. „And we were at the front of the field at the official test drives this spring – good requirements for us.“

His drivers will try to win „races on the Hungaroring. We are well prepared and we have two drivers on the same level with Felix Rosenqvist and Lucas Auer, who are able to achieve that“, Peter Mücke said. They showed their talent lastly three weeks ago on the city course in French Pau, when the Swede Rosenqvist (overall ninth) celebrated his first season win and the Austrian Auer (overall third) finished second.

Also on start for the racing stable from the German capital city with a focus on top ten positions are the Israeli Roy Nissany and Tatiana Calderon (all Dallara Mercedes) from Colombia. „Roy scored points in Pau and has been only four tenth of a second behind Felix and Lucas at the test drives. And Tatiana did a great job in Pau as well. She will surely do her next step forward in Hungary. Both should have their aim on point rankings on the Hungaroring“, Peter Mücke explained, whose racing stable is on third position of the overall team ranking at the moment.

It will be very important for the Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport to score good starting positions for the races 10 to 12 of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, which will be held in between the main schedule of the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters), already at the qualifying. „It is very tricky to overtake on the Hungaroring. You should have a good start already to score positions on the podium in the end.“
