Moscow premiere for the German team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport at the FIA Formula 3

Norisring 1107

A premiere is scheduled for the German team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin coming weekend (11th to 13th of July). The Moscow Raceway, about 80 km western of the Russian capital city, will be the venue for the FIA Formula 3 European Championship for the first time. The season runs 19 to 21 will be held at the seventh season event at the 3.931 km long track. „We are really looking forward to the course near Moscow. Our drivers and our combatants haven’t got any experience yet at this track. Anyway, we plan to be at the front of the field and score podium placings and wins that we always aim on“, team principal Peter Mücke said.

Lastly the racing stable from the German capital city scored two third positions with Lucas Auer about two weeks ago at the city race at the Norisring in Nürnberg. The Austrian is also the best placed Mücke pilot at the overall ranking on position three. The last years vice champion Felix Rosenqvist (both Dallara Mercedes) is on position six. „I’m looking forward to this weekend for a variety of reasons. Firstly, Moscow Raceway will be a brand new circuit for me, and secondly, I’ve never previously been to Russia. It’ll surely be very interesting“, the Swede said. „I normally adapt quickly to new circuits, and I’ve done quite a few laps around Moscow Raceway in the simulator, so at least I know what way the lap goes!“ If he and his team are able to keep the actual good pace in Moscow, they surely will be able to score podium placings.

And there are two more drivers of the Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport that aim on positions at the front of the field. The Israeli Roy Nissany and the Colombian Tatiana Calderon (both Dallara Mercedes) scored points at the Norisring. And that is what Peter Mücke hopes for both in Moscow again. „They developed great during this season. If they show a great performance at the qualifying, both are able to start in between the top ten and aim on podium placings“, the team principal said. Roy Nissany is optimistic to continue his upswing: „I scored my best qualifying result so far with position six at the Norisring and my best placing on position seven in the race. I want to take that up in Moscow and at the other coming races.“
