The eighth season event of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship this weekend (1st to 3rd of August) at the Red Bull Ring in Austria will be a thrilling story for multiple reasons for the German team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin. On the one hand, the season runs 22 to 24 in the Steiermark will be home races for Lucas Auer – the Austrian currently is the best placed driver of the racing stable from the German capital city on overall position three –, on the other hand the Swede Felix Rosenqvist (currently overall seventh) wrote motor sports history at the 4.326 km long track last year: He won all three races, which no driver of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship achieved before. Furthermore he scored the fastest lap time three times and keeps the lap record with 1:25,921 minutes. And Mücke pilot Roy Nissany from Israel also looks back to Spielberg with good memories, because he reached the point rankings on site last year. This year, he already achieved that in three races, just like his team colleague Tatiana Calderon (all Dallara Mercedes) from Colombia.

„One thing is clear, we travel to Spielberg highly motivated and with the ambition to win and score podium placings. And after the three weeks break we want to build on the performance of last year“, team principal Peter Mücke said. „We have been to the Lausitzring for test drives lately and we are well prepared for the races in Austria, where Lucas certainly will be supported by a lot of fans, friends and his family.“ The racing speed of the Mücke cars already has been very good at the premiere race in Moscow. „We want to show that again at the Red Bull Ring. But still most important is to score good positions at the qualifying in this hard fought drivers field of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship“, Peter Mücke explained. „And that is what we aim on in Spielberg.“
