One victory, one second, two third places as well as another five top ten positions were the result for Berlin team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport at the third to last ADAC Formula Masters season event which took place over the weekend (31th/31st August) with races 16 to 18 at the Nürburgring. The German Capitol’s racing team, in action for the ADAC Berlin Brandenburg, strengthened their runner up place in the team ratings.

The top scorer of the weekend was Marvin Dienst from Lampertheim who won the rainy race 17 on Saturday afternoon. He was also seen on the podium as runner up earlier on in the day but barely missed the podium on Sunday afternoon with a fourth place. Overall, he collected 50 points, climbing up to third place in the table, placing him right below his Mücke team colleague Maximilian Günther who had achieved a seventh place to start with, followed by two third places in his 145 horsepower Formula ADAC racer powered by Volkswagen on the 3.629 kilometre track on the Nürburgring. He also marked the fastest race lap in race 17.

Kim-Luis Schramm (Wümbach) made it into the top ten three times, as eighth, ninth and seventh. The Thuringian now ranks in the overall eighth place. Swissman Giorgio Maggi scraped past point ratings only just, finishing as 13th, 12th and 11th. “Kim-Luis was unlucky in qualifying, making it hard to get through to the top from the rear of the field”, explains team manager Peter Mücke. “Overall, it was an excellent weekend for our team. Marvin and Maxi delivered very good performances, notably so in Saturday afternoon’s race in wet conditions.”

The second to last ADAC Formula Masters season event is due to take place with races 19 to 21 at the Sachsenring near Hohenstein-Ernstthal from 19th to 21st September.
