I.S.R. Racing stays in the top-5 in race 2 at Paul Ricard
I.S.R. Racing ended their run with a 6th place at Circuit Paul Ricard, in race 2 of the penultimate round for the 2014 World Series Renault 3.5. Malaysian racer Jazeman Jaafar delivered a promising qualifying effort in the morning by scoring the fourth place, and then got the job done during the race, rounding out the top-5.
His battle with Merhi was one of the most exciting features today and definitely laid great foundations for the 2014 finale. The championship will be back for round 9 at Jerez de la Frontera, from the 17th to the 19th of October.

“In the end it’s been a good team effort, even though I was a little disappointed to have lost the spot to Merhi despite the great charge we made. In the first part of the race I got stuck behind him, after the pit-stop I didn’t feel I had the grip level I expected. Anyway it’s still a valuable points finish and now I’m looking forward to the final round of the season at Jerez de la Frontera.”
