The AVF by Adrián Vallés team continued in their extended stint today at Jerez de la Frontera. After the World Series Renault weekend, and yesterday’s Renault 2.0 test, the Spanish squad lined-up for the first out of two days of Renault 3.5 testing at the sunny Andalusian venue.

The duties on-track were assumed by the lone Beitske Visser. The Dutch female racer, returning to the #19 car after a very successful weekend, continued with the same pace showcased on Race day and took the 6th position overall by the end of the day.

She focused on the carryover set-up work from the weekend and continued in her progression for the delight of the team’s technical staff. AVF will return on-track tomorrow with Beitske for Day 2.

Beitske Visser – AM: P6 – PM: P15

“It was a very promising day for us. Closing the test with overall P6 shows that we didn’t achieve an even more impressive result in the race only due to unfortunate events. What most surprised us is that we were not looking for setting a fast lap, and this is very good. We compared many set-up configurations and I think tomorrow we could be competitive on the qualy simulation”.
