Visser impresses, Bosak debuts in Day 2 of WSR Aragon test
The second day of Renault 3.5 testing at Motorland Aragon showcased once again the potential of Beitske Visser aboard her AVF car. The Dutch female racer that Adrián Vallés is coaching with attention and commitment, was among the stars of the day, taking 5th and 7th place in the today’s two segments. As happened yesterday, the attention was dedicated to set-up testing in long run conditions. In the third session, held this morning, Beitske logged more laps than everybody else, 63. She also took advantage from the wet track of the first hours to bag more and more experience.
The second car was driven by rookie Alex Bosak, coming from the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS championship. The young Pole made his first steps with such a powerful car in a clever and professional fashion, focusing on learning its reactions in the faster corners. Visser and Bosak will also run in the third and last day.
Adrian Valles – Team Principal
“I’m every day more impressed by Beitske’s growth. It was just 12 months ago when she decided to join the Formula Renault 3.5 from the Formula ADAC Masters, a 400-horsepower jump, and we know how difficult it was for her at the start, also from the physical point of view, to keep the pace of her opponents. Beitske grew up a lot during the 2014 season, he was committed like I’ve hardly seen before, and after the great outcome of Race 1 at Jerez, she manages to stay easily in the top-10, running a hundred of laps without physical issues. On the other hand, Bosak was making his debut and we helped him to take the first step on the series’ Dallar-Zytek. He took full advantage from our advice and did very well”.
