The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport in Macau

The season highlight for the German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin at the Formula 3 is scheduled from Thursday to Sunday (13th to 16th of November) – the 61st edition of the Macau Grand Prix. The racing stable from the German capital city will be at start in China with the Austrian Lucas Auer, the Swede Felix Rosenqvist and the Colombian Tatiana Calderon in three Dallara-Mercedes race cars with the starting numbers 19, 20 and 21 in the field of the 30 best Formula 3 pilots of the world.

It will be the fourth participation at the inofficial Formula 3 world championship for the racing stable of Peter Mücke at the 6.12 km long city course in the former Portuguese colony. And the results so far have been very good: At the premiere event in 2011 the Japanese Yuhi Sekiguchi finished fourth, in 2012 Felix Rosenqvist finished second and Pascal Wehrlein (Worndorf) finished fourth. After the unlucky last year, when a combatant hit the car of Felix Rosenqvist (coming from starting position two) right at the first straight of the track, this time the whole team is ready to score the big hit. „It is quite simple: We want to win“, team principal Peter Mücke said.

The 20 year old Lucas Auer, who finished fourth this year at the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and takes part at the Macau Grand Prix for the third time already and Felix Rosenqvist (23 years old, eighth at the European Championship) at his fifth participation have great chances to win this race. „During the past season, both showed that they are at eye level with the world best Formula 3 pilots. And they both have experience in Macau“, team principal Peter Mücke said. The 21 year old Tatiana Calderon will have her debut race at the hard city course and will be the only woman at this year’s Formula 3 GP as well as the first woman since 1983 at this competition. „Tatiana is experienced enough for this race. She gave us great pleasure at the past Formula 3 European Championship season and hopes for a good placing.“

Certainly you can’t make any accurate predictions for the „Suncity Group Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix“. „The narrow city course is very special. There are a few things you are not able to plan for in advance“, Peter Mücke explained. „But so far our cars always showed a great performance in Macau – and that will be the same this time. We will see about the rest.“ The Formula 3 world finale starts on Thursday with the first training. Another training session and the qualifying are scheduled for Friday. The qualification race is scheduled for Saturday and the final Grand Prix for Sunday.

And due to the highlight of the season the website of the Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport (www.muecke-motorsport.de) will launch its new website. The website in a new outfit went online on Wednesday (12th of November).
