AVF announces driver line-up for 2015 Eurocup Renault and NEC

AVF by Adrián Vallés is proud to announce the driver line-up for a full-scale commitment in the Renault 2.0 championships. The Spanish squad will be running in both the F.Renault NEC and Eurocup F.Renault 2.0 championships with a powerful roster, featuring promising youngsters and more experienced racers aiming to make their breakthrough.

For their full-time return to the Eurocup, AVF will rely on Iñigo Bikuña and Harrison Scott. After entering the 2014 NEC Championship and selected Eurocup rounds, the Spaniard will make the next step to the European series. British 18-year-old Harrison will be at his maiden experience in Formula Renault. He’s coming from two successful seasons in British Formula Ford competition, where he ended up as a runner-up twice in the last two seasons.

In the Northen European Cup, Vallés is set for a three-car assault featuring Roy Geerts, Josef Zaruba and Henrique Chaves. Geerts, coming from the Netherlands, won the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC series in 2013 before moving to the upper category with AVF last season. Czech racer Zaruba will also be returning for a second season with the team after scoring one podium and one pole in 2014. Making his first steps in open-wheel competition will be 17-year-old Portuguese Henrique Chaves, who enjoyed a positive karting career and now has high hopes and lots of determination.

Adrián Vallés – Team Principal
“I’m delighted to announce our plans for the 2015 Formula Renault 2.0 NEC and Eurocup championships. For us it will be a demanding double commitment, but we’re sure that thanks to the efforts of our staff and the contribution of the drivers, we’ll have the right chance to impress. The line-up features an interesting mix of different ages, levels of experience and backgrounds. I think this will provide an additional resource to build on”.
