Competition102 becomes title sponsor of GT4 European Series
Ahead of the start of the new racing season at the French track Nogaro this weekend, Competition102 has become title sponsor of the GT4 European Series. The arrival of the high quality and performance fuel supplier strengthens the already competitive championship’s presence. It includes the promising line-up of PRO and AM drivers, successful existing and brand new race car models, a six round calendar that includes famous race tracks in Europe and partnering well-known racing series.
Competition102 is premium petrol with an octane number of 102. The unique high octane number of 102 (RON 102) and MON number of at least 90 ensures optimal performances. Competition102 is suitable for all petrol-powered vehicles: from classic cars and normal passenger vehicles to cross motorcycles and high performance racing cars. Competition102 fuel is exclusively produced, stored and distributed by Salland Olie Maatschappij B.V. in the Netherlands. It’s available at over 35 petrol stations nationwide and is sold in 60-litre barrels.
Michel Claessen, project manager at Salland Olie Maatschappij B.V.: “The GT4 European Series is a fantastic racing series and unique in its kind. Strong international drivers are participating with high quality car models racing at renowned tracks and events. That is exactly what strengthens our values and which are the main reasons to become a proud title sponsor. All cars will race on our fuel to maximise performance.”
Max Braams, Coordinator of the Competition102 GT4 European Series: “After a successful inaugural year, we are very pleased to announce a title sponsor for the second season. Competition102 shares the same values regarding competition and is offering a high quality product that increases efficiency of the petrol engines of all competing vehicles. We are looking forward to the start of the season as we are expecting a great line-up and powerful GT4 machinery racing at famous tracks in Europe.”
Competition102 GT4 European Series kicks off at the French racetrack Nogaro, 4 – 6 April. The championship also visits Circuit Park Zandvoort (NLD), Red Bull Ring (AUT), Spa-Francorchamps (BEL), Nürburgring (GER) and Misano (ITA). The series partners ADAC GT Masters or the Blancpain Sprint Series on five occasions. Hankook provides once again the tyres while Motors TV and Dutch broadcaster RTL7 are to televise the races.
