Team REBELLION Racing are back to Bahrain for the final race of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship for the 6 Hours of Bahrain.
This will be the fourth time that the Sakhir’s Bahrain International Circuit will host the sole FIA WEC event in the gulf.

Team REBELLION Racing are hopeful that the 6 Hours of Bahrain this weekend will mark another step in the right direction for the performance of their cars, after both Rebellion R-One AER cars improved their pace in the previous races.

The Swiss team won their fourth straight win in the FIA World Endurance Trophy for LMP1 Privateer Teams at the previous race in Shanghai. For the race in Bahrain, the #13 Rebellion R-One AER crew will be out to try to secure second place in the championship to complete a one-two for the team.

Team REBELLION Racing has a last minute change in their driver line up as Nick Heidfeld will miss the 6 Hours of Bahrain because of a ligament injury in his left wrist sustained during his last Formula E race in Malaysia two weeks ago. Nicolas Prost and Mathias Beche will driver the #12 Rebellion R-One AER without a third driver.

The drivers trio in the #13 Rebellion R-One AER remains unchanged with Dominik Krahaimer, Alexandre Imperatori and Mathéo Tuscher.
The young Swiss driver Mathéo Tuscher will have a busy weekend as he will race in both the FIA WEC and the GP3 Series, a support race of the main event.

The WEC 6 Hours of Bahrain will start on Saturday 21st of November at 15h00 local time (12h00 GMT).

Bart Hayden, REBELLION Racing Team Manager :
« We moved in the right direction with regards our competitiveness and reliability in Japan, and despite two wins in the last two races we know that we still have a lot of work to do to reach the level we want, however we are looking to have another strong performance at the 6 Hours of Bahrain on Saturday.
We are expecting hot ambient temperatures, which we will have to manage. On track, we also expect changing grip conditions, caused by the fine desert sand if there is some wind.
We have a good knowledge of this track from previous visits, so we are confident that we will manage these conditions with our partners at AER and Michelin. »
