FFF Racing set for Season of excitement in LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO
FFF Racing Team is all revved up for its maiden race on the European continent as the lights go out on the 2016 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy (23-24 April).
Since announcing its involvement in Super Trofeo at the start of the year, the competitive FFF Racing Team has been hard at work clocking up as many testing miles as possible.
The hotly anticipated season will see FFF Racing’s Sean Fu Songyang compete at the wheel of the team’s bespoke Lamborghini Super Trofeo race car.
The championship provides an exclusive platform for gentlemen drivers to compete in a high-level motorsport championship. The top three finishers in the European, Asian and American series’ are all invited to compete in the World Final, which is due to be held at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on 1-2 December.
FFF Racing Team Owner, Fu Songyang, said: “This weekend is a momentous occasion in FFF Racing Team’s history, as it sees us race in Europe for the very first time. Also, the weekend will be our first race in what we hope will be a very successful international season.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo boasts a coveted slot on the Endurance Series support package and each round encompasses one qualifier and a pair of 50-minute feature races, while the calendar takes in many of Europe’s most hallowed racetracks.
Fu Songyang finished by saying: “Pre-season testing for this championship has seen us get some good mileage in the Lamborghini. Overall, we are really looking forward to this season and are confident we can secure a top three finish to book our place in the Super Trofeo World Final.”
