SA driver Eugene Deneyssen holding keen on a triple top-ten at Rockingham

South African Eugene Denyssen heads to the Rockingham Motor Speedway with a spring in his step for the third round of the British Formula 3 championship on 1 May, fresh off his first top ten result in the series at Brands Hatch two weeks ago.

The Formula 3 rookie from Somerset West has been finding his feet in his first two races of the competitive series and now looks forward to converting his newfound experience to good use in Round 3: “Yeah, we’ve learnt a lot after that successful Brands Hatch weekend,” Eugene admitted. “ It was a great confidence booster for me and we have improved greatly since the first race so I’m really looking forward to Rockingham.

“We have tested at Rockingham and my pace was strong there — it’s a demanding circuit with very little time to relax, so your body is under continuous strain through long and fast corners, but I’m confident that a top 10 result should be achievable in each race.”
