SA British F3 racer Eugene intends to bouncing back at Oulton Park

The fourth round of the 2016 British Formula 3 championship heads to Oulton Park over the UK Bank Holiday weekend 29-30 May, where South African rookie Eugene Denyssen is keen to bounce back after a tough weekend at Rockingham at the beginning of the month.

“I went back home to South Africa to recharge and clear my head after a difficult weekend at Rockingham,” the Somerset West driver explained. “Now I’m looking forward to getting back to be doing some testing at Silverstone before the pre-test at Oulton Park leading up to race weekend.

“I’m fully focussed to bounce back into the top 10 after a good three-week break and I’m looking forward to achieve strong results. “Oulton Park is a nice, flowing track with a couple chicanes, which should be good for some interesting racing.”

Former kart star Denyssen made his British Formula 3 debut at the opening race of the season at Snetterton and was delighted to already be in the points on his second race weekend at Brands Hatch before a tough weekend at Rockingham. The first of Oulton Park’s midseason races happens Sunday afternoon 29 May with races 2 and 3 on Monday the 30th — follow the action on www.britishf3.com.
