The fourth round of the 2016 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 at Red Bull Ring handed AVF their first pole position and their second win of the year. In qualifying held Sunday morning, Harrison Scott posted a stunning pole en-route to a true domination during the race. The British ace also got his second win of the season after the one recorded in Monza and is now fully back in championship contention. Scott is standing third with 121 points, while Norris is leading with 159. Henrique Chaves experienced a really positive weekend too. Driving the second Tatuus car prepared by Adrián Vallés and his men, he rebounded from a track limits penalty on Saturday to take an hard-fought fifth place in race 2. AVF will be back on-track in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 on the 28th of August at Le Castellet.

Harrison Scott – Race 1: P4 – Race 2: P1
“It was my first time on this track but since Friday I knew we had the pace but unfortunately in the last lap I hit a kerb so the guys worked really hard to fix the floor. Thanks to them we had the chance to be back on track and Saturday we took a decent 4th place. Sunday was great, we made the pole with a good margin. In the race I try to be in front, stay in the front and be the fastest and at the end was a brilliant Sunday. Thanks to the team for the hard work and we had big improvements”.

Henrique Chaves – Race 1: P16 – Race 2: P5
“The week-end didn’t start in the best way as we had some problems to fix on the car. Then I started to improve, beginning with qualifying 1 where my ideal lap was good although I didn’t put it together. I also had a penalty for track limits in race 1 so I finished at the back. Sunday has been a good day, in practice I was consistent, I followed Palmer throughout the race, pushing him to the limit, and when he made a mistake I took fifth place. I’m really happy, the car was good and congrats to my teammate for winning the race”.
