FFF head to Paul Ricard with high expectations in the GT3 Le Mans Cup
FFF Racing head to Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France for round four of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup (26-28 August, 2016) aiming for a strong result following a difficult weekend in Austria.
Adrian Quaife-Hobbs and Hiroshi Hamaguchi will be back behind the wheel of the Roger Dubuis-liveried #55 McLaren 650S GT3, looking build on their third position in the drivers’ championship while the team themselves are currently in a tight battle for second in the standings.
Following a fine second positions at both Imola and the fabled Circuit de la Sarthe, the team believe that they can get back at the front this weekend.
Team Owner, Sean Fu Songyang, said: “The result at the Red Bull Ring was a disappointing one, but that’s racing and we know – and have proved – we have the speed. So the task in France is to show what we can go and get back onto the podium and ensure that we retain the second position in the Teams’ Classification.
“Both Hiroshi and Adrian are driving well, so there’s no reason not to expect a good result so we can be in a stronger position heading to Spa Francorchamps next month.”
Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup free practice gets underway on Friday 26 August at 11.20 CET, with a second session at 16.35. Qualifying takes place Saturday at 11.15, with the two-hour race itself at 17.15.
