29th Techno Classica World Tour in Essen: Ruote da Sogno displays fascinating cars and bikes

Ruote da Sogno’s three-date European tour comes to a close with the 29th edition of Techno Classica. The event will open its doors on Wednesday 5 April and follows the celebrated Motor Valley atelier’s two previous shows staged in Europe’s biggest exhibition locations. After Retro Classics, in Paris and Stuttgart, it is the turn of Essen, in Rhine-Westphalia, to play host to Techno Classica. For 29 years, the motoring event has achieved global status and now attracts 1250 exhibitors from 30 countries.
The Ruote da Sogno stand will be in PAVILION 3, flanking other official Italian manufacturers in the form of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati and German brands Mercedes Benz and Porsche. The 120 m² open space will be displaying a 1971 Ferrari Dino 246GT, a 308 GTB from 1976, a 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera RS, a super-rare, limited edition 991 Targa 4S from 2016, an AC 16 Drophead Coupè, from 1937, and a perfectly restored Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS dating from 1961.
As always, what distinguishes the Reggio-based operator from other European exhibitors is the presence of its Italian motorcyles. The line-up is a badge of pride; a true mobile museum. On display in Essen will be an MV Agusta Meccanica Verghera from 1976, a 1972 MV Agusta 4c 750cc, a 1952 Vespa 125cc Sei Giorni, a Laverda 750 SFC, from 1974, a 2009 Moto Guzzi MGS-01, a 1984 Ducati 900, as well as stars from the 1930s in the shape of a 1939 Benelli 500cc and a 1934 Bianchi 500cc Super Sport.
Ruote da Sogno grew from the desire of businessman Stefano Aleotti, co-founder of Cellular Line and noted collector of classic cars and motorcyles, to satisfy the wishes of clients looking to own vehicles from their youth or to collect cars and motorcycles as an investment, bucking the negative trends that can affect the traditional financial and property markets.
