Perel becomes Stilo Helmet brand ambassador

Kessel Ferrari race driver David Perel has signed an agreement with Stilo Racing Helmets to bring David aboard as an official Stilo brand Ambassador.

“David is a rising star in the GT ranks and we are excited to have him join the Stilo family,” Stilo CEO, Guglielmo Belotti confirmed. “Our ST5 model is perfectly suited to the kind of racing David competes in and I think we can raise the profile of Stilo and our partnership together”

The name Stilo comes from the tool used to write in the bronze age – a tool that was used to imprint humanity’s first thoughts, their first ideas and concepts. In time the word ‘stilo’ evolved to ‘style’ and that is the way each person uses a stilo – to express your own style. Stilo’s helmet style leaves a lasting impression – exactly like a stilo did in our ancestors’ wax boards.

David from Cape Town South Africa, has been an avid fan of racing helmets ever since trying on his father’s race helmet at three years old. “I have always been hugely passionate about helmets,” David smiled. “I taught myself how to become a graphic designer when I created my first helmet design in 2003 and to this day I pay close attention to the latest shapes and designs in the racing world, so to become an ambassador for one of the fastest growing helmet brands is hugely exciting.”

Stilo is currently exploding on the racing scene with a presence in every top racing formula including Formula 1. David’s relationship will see him wearing and promoting the latest Stilo products while driving his Kessel Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 in the Blancpain GT Series among his other international motorsport commitments through the 2017 season.
