Vaillante REBELLION will start the 6h of Spa P5 and P9

After a second day at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, Vaillante REBELLION will start the race in 5th and 9th position, on this Saturday at 2:30pm.

After their preparation during the three free practice sessions on Thursday and Friday, the Oreca 07 #13, driven by Mathias Beche, David Heinemeier Hansson and Nelson Piquet Jr recorded a better time lap at 2:01.970, during the last session.

The #31, driven by Julien Canal, Nicolas Prost and Bruno Senna also achieved a better performance in the last free practice with a best time lap at 2:03.354.

A few minutes after the beginning of the qualifying session, a way out from Vitaly Petrov of CEFC Manor TRS Racing caused the red flag for several minutes.

Once the car was evacuated, the drivers were able to restart the race on the Belgian circuit in order to get the best lap times. The #13 finally ranked P5 with a best time lap at 2:02.943 and the #31 P9 for a best time lap at 2:02.953.

As a reminder, the livery 2017 Vaillante REBELLION will be exhibited in the paddock throughout the meeting!
