ADAC German Formula 4 – Jonathan confident for Oschersleben F4

Cape Town driver Jonathan Aberdein heads to Oschersleben ready to deliver strong results at the fourth round of the ADAC German Formula 4 championship 8-9 July. The South African has been back home since his last outing, where he took a gap from his race regime, but now he’s raring to go.

“I’ve had a few weeks at home recharging the batteries and reflecting on the first few races,” Jonathan explained. “But its full attack as usual going into round 4 and I feel very confident with the car and the Oschersleben track, so it is the right recipe for a good weekend.”

Aberdein however returned to Europe a week early to accompany his dad Chris on an adventure to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, where the old man was reunited with the fearsome IMSA Audi quattro he used to race in South Africa in the ‘80s. “Goodwood was an important history lesson — I was supporting dad for once rather than him me, which is quite cool!”
