FRENCH F4 CHAMPIONSHIP 2017 – Charles Milesi victorious at Magny-Cours!

The final race of the weekend lived up to the standard of this meeting on the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit. Charles Milesi on his return to the French F4 Championship made a big impact and finished the weekend on a high note by winning the heat from Victor Martins and Stuart White.

Today Sunday the curtain fell on the weekend in the late afternoon on the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit for the drivers in the French F4 Championship. They all saw the chequered flag after pulling off a series of clean overtaking moves. Charles Milesi made a good start and after taking first place he was never worried and went on to win the race at the chequered flag.

Victor Martins, who came out on top after a good scrap with Stuart White, was unable to fend off Milesi despite trying everything he knew to keep his rival at bay. Stuart White has also got good reason to be satisfied with his race as despite losing first place he was able to keep Hugo Chevalier behind him.

The latter concluded his weekend with fourth place after his podium finish in the second heat. Arthur Rougier waited until the closing laps to pull off a good pass on Christian Muñoz. In the mid field battle raged between Florian Venturi, Pierre-Alexandre Jean and Jean-Baptiste Mela who finished seventh, eighth and ninth in that order.

After his podium yesterday and 14th place in race 2, Marvin Klein was out for revenge. He fought his way past Ugo de Wilde first of all and then Javier Gonzalez clinching the point that went with 10th position. Noah Watt scored a hat trick of 11th places as this is where he finished in race 3!

Thomas Drouet started in 12th spot on the grid where he stayed until the flag after a solid drive. Ugo de Wilde and Javier Gonzalez were locked in battle throughout the race and came home in 13th and 14th positions. Amaury Cordeel saw the flag in last place after making a mistake on the first lap after which the Belgian driver was never able to catch his rivals.
