Vaillante REBELLION to show determination for the 6 Hours of Fuji
After two races in America, both Vaillante REBELLION crews expect to confirm their good dynamics for their arrival in Asia with a first round in Japan.
This is the final straight for the team who will be racing for their first free practice this Friday, October 13th at the Fuji Speedway. The technical teams will again have to face complicated weather conditions with showers announced throughout this endurance weekend in Japan.
With 20 points from leader Jackie Chan DC Racing #38, the crew #31 with Bruno Senna, Nicolas Prost and Julien Canal will be ready to get closer to this long awaited first position in the FIA WEC classification.
Seventh-seeded Mathias Beche, Nelson Piquet Jr and David Heinemeier Hansson are determined to go up the rankings by continuing their momentum of September at the wheel of the Oreca 07 #13.
Julien Canal, #31 driver:
“We are all very motivated while waiting for this Fuji race. For us, winning the championship is always possible and it will be necessary to score the maximum points for these last three races. The whole team is concentrated, the mechanics, the engineers and the drivers!”
Mathias Beche, #13 driver:
“Always a great pleasure to come to Japan. It’s a country that fascinates me, the fans are always amazed and have a true culture of motorsport. I had the pleasure of driving on the last qualifying session in Austin and this time it will be Nelson’s turn. We are extremely motivated and I think that the difficult weather conditions that are expected will showcase our crew!”
