Motorsport Festival GTC2 – Nick looking for step up after great debut

Cape Town racer Nick Adcock is raring to go for his second start in the Sasol GTC2 championship at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit Saturday 4 November. Adcock, who surprised with a fine third overall on his debut in the untested AidCall247 Golf Gti GTC2 car at Killarney last time out can’t wait to race the Rico Barlow car again following comprehensive testing and development over the two months since the Cape meeting.

“We have been working hard to improve the car for Kyalami,” Nick explained. “We have had several fruitful tests and we’ve improved the handling and I am much happier with the balance of the car after experiencing chronic understeer last time out. “The team has also fitted a pit to car radio, an upgraded data logger and made several other improvements to the GTI.

“Like most people, I love the Kyalami circuit — it’s a joy to drive, we are expecting to be on the pace and look forward to moving our AidCall247 Volkswagen Golf GTI well up the grid in Jo’burg — can’t wait!”
