Christian Muñoz joins AVF for 2018 Eurocup di Formula Renault 2.0

AVF is delighted to announce the agreement reached with Christian Muñoz for the 2018 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup season. The Colombian racer, born on February 17th, 1999, is ready to make his debut in the developmental series promoted by the French manufacturer after entering the 2017 French Formula 4 and finishing sixth, with a podium to his name. In addition, Muñoz entered three USF2000 rounds in 2016 to make his single-seater debut after a karting career started in 2011. Christian will be partnering the already-announced Xavier Lloveras and Axel Matus.

“I’m really happy and excited to join AVF for the 2018 Eurocup Formula Renault. After my last season in F4, I think that Formula Renault 2.0 is the natural step forward in a driver’s career. It’s gonna be a tough year but we will work very hard with the team to be always on top. Next event is preseason testing in a couple of weeks, so let’s see how it goes and then set a target for the whole season.”
