GT4 European Series donates 2017 fines to Lymph&Co
SRO Motorsports Group continues its tradition of donating to charity the revenue of the fines paid by teams and drivers in its championships. The GT4 European Series Northern Cup teams and drivers were fined a total of € 11,208.00 during the 2017 season and this money was donated to the Lymph&Co foundation.
Lymph & Co is a lymphoma foundation actively raising money for research. One in every 50 persons is diagnosed with lymphoma during his or her lifetime and it affects people of all ages. The lymphoma problem is growing, and Lymph&Co provides leading scientists and hematologists operating in lymphoma research with funding to make it possible to conduct research around the world.
Max Braams, Series Manager GT4 European Series: “All the money collected from fines handed out to teams and drivers goes to charitable causes and this year the GT4 European Series chose to donate the money to Lymph&Co. We hope that our donation will help Lymph&Co to support more research and eventually win the battle against lymphoma.”
Bernhard van Oranje, Founder of the Lymph&Co foundation: “We are very grateful to the GT4 European Series for this generous donation and will make sure that 100 % of this donation will be used for fundamental lymphoma research”
