Says Dominik Baumann: “I am really excited to be given the opportunity to join R-Motorsport. Although the team is a relatively new entity in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup it has already made its mark in the first three races of this season and is a serious competitor for outright victories. I am looking forward to the first test outing with the Aston Martin at Spa and my target for the race is to contribute in the best way possible to achieving a top result. Looking at the performances of the team so far I am convinced that we will be very competitive.”
Comments Dr. Florian Kamelger, Team Principal: “We thank Alex for his contribution to developing our team in the first three races of the season and we welcome Dominik to our team. We are sure that with Dominik’s vast experience and his excellent GT3 track record he will be an asset to R-Motorsport. We are looking forward to working with Dominik and can’t wait for the first race with him joining our drivers team at Spa-Francorchamps.”
