Davide Amaduzzi’s campaign in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series will resume this weekend at Tucson Speedway after the two top-10 finishes he got on August 25. The Italian – a Las Vegas resident since a few years – will pilot once again the #41 Ricky Bogart Motorsport Super Truck at the 3/8-mile short track.

“I’m pumped and ready to jump back in the arena,” said Amaduzzi, who will take part in his fourth race in the popular Super Trucks division on Saturday, September 29. “After 3 races in which I always started from the back for one reason or the other, I’m looking forward to a normal weekend because I’m really curious to find out what I can do.”

Amaduzzi’s latest outing in the division, dating back to the double feature on August 25, brought two solid top-10 finishes at end of two hard-fought races. Davide started both from the back due to a rain out in qualifying and climbed his way back to the front, overtake after overtake, despite a cautious start.

“The two races were both very intense. Starting from the back, I wanted to climb as many position as possible quickly, but after the penalty I received last time out for a last lap contact, I took it a little bit easier, maybe even too much,” said the Bologna native, who finished ninth in the first of the two feature races.

The second race was quite different and Amaduzzi was tenth under the checkered flag.

“Towards mid-race I decided to push harder and there was some beating and banging. Tough stuff, but really exciting. In the end we had to read the final classification to understand where I ended up,” concluded the Italian.

The whole Saturday, September 29th program at Tucson Speedway will be streamed live on Fanschoice.tv, the online platform created by NASCAR, IMSA and American Flat Track, starting from 4:00 am CET.
