REBELLION RACING ON THE WAY TO THE 6 HOURS OF SHANGHAI

REBELLION R-13 cars N.1 and N.3 are preparing to start the 6 Hours of Shanghai. For this fifth and final race of the year, the EoT has once again been revised to reduce the gap between LMP1 Privateers and Hybrids and thus live up to endurance fans’ high expectations.

Last season, the Team finished this race in 1st and 3rd positions in the LMP2 category. What does this 2018 edition have in store for us? See you on Friday at 11:00am (local time) for the first free practice!

Bruno Senna, #1 driver
“After a strong weekend in Fuji, I’m looking forward to the kick-off in Shanghai. It’s a track that I enjoy and all the high-speed sections will be nice to drive for our REBELLION machines!”

André Lotterer, #1 driver
“We made good progress with the car in Fuji and I hope to confirm that in Shanghai to further this evolution. The EoT should help us and we hope to be able to fight the Toyotas.”

Neel Jani, #1 driver
“I am looking forward to go racing again. SMP Racing is getting stronger each race, so I am looking forward to have a great battle with them. I hope that Shanghai fits a bit better to our tires than Fuji, and in that respect I also welcome the extra tyre test that we get from Michelin on Friday morning. This should help all privateer cars for the next generation of tires.”

Mathias Beche, #3 driver
“I started my career in China and Shanghai was the circuit of my first win. I appreciate its layout and it’s always special for me to go back to where it all started. I hope I can shine again on Chinese lands!”

Thomas Laurent,#3 driver
“I’m very motivated for Shanghai! It’s a circuit that I really enjoy with a lot of quick sectors! This is the last race before the long break so we will have to do things well and I have absolutely zero doubt about that!”
