CERTINA joined the SRO-promoted GT4 series as an official partner at the start of the 2017 season and for the third year running CERTINA banners will appear on the windscreen of every GT4 car racing in the GT4 European Series and the Championnat de France FFSA GT – GT4 France.

As in 2018, pole-sitters in all classes will receive a CERTINA watch, making the fight for pole position in every qualifying session even more interesting. The CERTINA watches will be awarded to the drivers on the podium after each race and the Swiss watch manufacturer’s logos will also be highly visible during the podium ceremonies.

Adrian Bosshard, CERTINA President : “Certina is looking forward to tackling its third year as the timing partner of the GT4 racing series. The dynamic and professional atmosphere of this racing series perfectly matches the sporty watch brand Certina, which has been active in motor sports for many decades. The GT4 championships are synonymous with motor racing at the highest level with a wide variety of manufacturers and affordable costs. This makes the series particularly attractive to Certina President Adrian Bosshard, who used to race motorcycles himself.”

Stephane Ratel, SRO Motorsports Group Founder & CEO: “Building long-standing relationships is crucial to achieving success in motor racing, so I am delighted that CERTINA will extend its official partnership with two of our leading GT4 championships this season. By awarding its watches to the pole-sitter and podium finishers, CERTINA goes beyond the role of an ordinary sponsor and makes a real contribution to the excitement of our on-track product. What’s more, given the brand’s reputation for accuracy and attention to detail, it is the ideal partner for GT4 racing. I look forward to working with CERTINA throughout the 2019 season, beginning with the opening GT4 European Series event at Monza this weekend.”
