#PRTWorldSBK: Stunning WorldSBK entertainment awaits fans in Portugal!
The wait is almost over! WorldSBK will return into action this weekend at Autodromo Internacional do Algarve Portimao for Round 10 of the championship with riders and teams ready to put on a big show after the long summer break. Alongside the unmissable battles, the world-famous stage of the Paddock Show will also return to Portugal with even more shows and entertainment ready for all the fans watching the races trackside.
Bigger and better than ever before, the Paddock Show stage will bring all WorldSBK enthusiasts closer to the action, ensuring a unique experience to the fans, that will get a taste of the true essence of the championship! Thanks to the live commentary of all sessions from Friday till Sunday and chat shows with insiders from the championship, the Paddock Show will keep you busy and up to date all weekend. Moreover, at the ACERBIS Portuguese Round, WorldSSP team MPM WLSport Racedays and riders Hannes Soomer and Jaimie van Sikkelerus will be on stage on Friday to speak about their busy 2019 season.
Take part in interactive quizzes such as “ACERBIS Answer to win” and ”A question to WorldSBK” to win exclusive prizes like Safety Car laps, access to the grid, and other giveaways. Saturday and Sunday don’t miss the chance to become an active part of the podium celebrations! When the Tissot Superpole sessions and the races are over, bikes will roll into the parc fermé situated next to the stage. Watch the riders receiving their trophies on the podium and get sprayed with the Prosecco DOC shower! Then, follow the riders on stage as they will give their first reactions to the fans after their thrilling races!
And, if you want to get closer to the riders, the Paddock Show is once again the place to be! On Saturday afternoon don’t miss the Supershow as all WorldSSP, and WorldSBK riders will be on stage to sign autographs and take selfies with the fans. On Sunday morning meet the local stars of the Oliveira Cup and all WorldSSP300 riders for the Meet & Greet starting at 11.35 AM.
The paddock will offer entertainment suitable for the whole family and kids under 16 will get free entrance by attending the event with a paying adult. From Friday till Sunday the Fan Zone will be open offering products displays, photo opportunities, safety car demo drives, merchandise and free Prosecco DOC tasting!
Moreover, reaching the circuit will be easier than ever before as a free shuttle bus service will be available on Saturday and Sunday for all pre-sale tickets holders. Check on the circuit website to find out where you can catch your bus to the circuit. And if you are planning on visiting the paddock all weekend but want to skip the journey, the camping site will welcome all fans wishing to stay overnight. Music, food, beverage and other facilities will be available over the three days.
