#GTWorldChEu – James Pull joins R-Motorsport GT3 Driver Line-Up

R-Motorsport announced today that James Pull has joined their driver line-up for the 2020 GT World Challenge Europe. The 20-year old British talent, who was born in Singapore, will contest all rounds of the GT World Challenge Europe in the Silver Cup Category driving an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 of the Swiss team. The complete R-Motorsport driver line-up will be announced at a later stage.

James Pull started racing in Karts at the early age of eight years in 2008. After having gained experience in several top karting championships, first in Asia and then in Europe, Pull started his single seater career in 2015. He impressed immediately with good results during his debut single-seater season, competing in the MSA Formula Championship. The following year James finished 4th in the British Formula 4 Championship with two wins. In 2017 Pull graduated to Formula 3 ending the season as both BRDC British F3 Championship runner-up and winner of the Rookie championship standings.

In 2018 James Pull, who lives partly in Singapore and in the UK, entered the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship. With 5 wins and 17 podiums in total, he finished the year as runner-up in both the Asian and the Middle East Super Trofeo Championships and became the first ever British Super Trofeo European race winner.

In 2019 Pull competed in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The highlight of his maiden GT3 season was winning the Silver Cup category of the Spa 24 Hours. This year Pull will contest all the rounds of the GT World Challenge Europe with R-Motorsport.

“I am really excited to join such a top professional team like R-Motorsport,” enthuses James Pull. “I will give my very best to contribute to the success of the team and to justify their trust in me.”

“We welcome James to R-Motorsport and are glad to support the career of another promising talent,” says Team Principal, Dr. Florian Kamelger. “It has always been our philosophy to give young drivers a chance to show their skills in a professional and competitive environment such as the GT World Challenge Europe.”
