Ocean Racing Technology is confident for the GP3 Series races in Valencia
The GP3 Series have their third round this weekend in Valencia, Spain. Ocean Racing Technology, which is making its debut in this championship has succeeded in claiming a third place podium spot and two fastest laps in race. Its priority is therefore to continue the path of good results. Kevin Ceccon, Robert Cregan and Carmen Jorda are the official drivers of the Portuguese team. Ceccon occupies the sixth position in the Championship and is focused on returning to repeat the good results of the beginning of the season: “It will be extremely hard for me for one week. Before reaching Valencia I had my final exams in school and soon after the race, the final written examination. But I will try to have two good races in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for a hard but fruitful week,” he said.
Robert Cregan who prepared hard this last week, is optimistic: “The tests were of particular importance to come to Valencia confident. We have worked a lot on car set-up and race simulation. I also prepared the race on the simulator so I hope we have the opportunity to take a step forward in our performance in qualifying and in both races.”
Carmen Jorda sees this race with a special enthusiasm as she will race on her home soil: “I’m very happy to be able to be close to my family and friends. I have however the responsibility of being the only native of Valencia, so I shall represent the region. I will try my best to give the fans the best possible result but also to my team that I have helped enough in this process of evolution.”
The Valencia races may be followed on Sky Sports on Saturday at 5:15pm and on Sunday at 9:20am.
