Iron Lynx and Iron Dames confirms FIA WEC campaign in 2023

Today, Italian racing team, Iron Lynx has confirmed its GTE campaign in FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) for 2023, in collaboration with Proton Competition.

Claudio Schiavoni will build on a strong season last year and race the Iron Lynx #60 Porsche 911 RSR-19 in the LMGTE category, alongside two other drivers who will be confirmed in the near future.

While the Iron Dames will continue with its 24 Hours of Le Mans all-female line-up from last year, with Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting, and Rahel Frey, taking the reins of the #85 car.

Iron Lynx Team Principal, Andrea Piccini, said: “We are extremely happy to take part once again in the FIA WEC this season. It will be a tremendous honour to see both the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames’ colours in the iconic 100th anniversary of one of the most prestigious races in the endurance world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“Following the recent announcement of our exciting next chapter with Lamborghini in GT and LMDh, choosing Porsche for our GTE campaign felt like a natural extension and fits well into the global picture.”
