Dress rehearsal for the highlight of the season on the Nordschleife: after taking a break over the Easter weekend, ROWE RACING will rack up plenty of kilometres on Saturday (15th April) to prepare for the ADAC 24h Nürburgring on 20th and 21st May. The appearance in the 54th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken‑Trophy, the third race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), will be the last competitive event in the “Green Hell” for the team from St. Ingbert ahead of the classic endurance race.

Having had to retire one car on the first lap at the second NLS race, ROWE RACING is aiming to go the full distance this time with both BMW M4 GT3s and collect as much data and information as possible for the “Eifel Marathon”. The two BMW M works drivers Dries Vanthoor and Maxime Martin will be making their second competitive appearances for ROWE RACING this year, having celebrated victory together in the opening race of the season.

This time, the two Belgian drivers will be racing in different cars. Dries Vanthoor will be sharing the cockpit in the #98 BMW M4 GT3 with DTM champion Sheldon van der Linde from South Africa, while Maxime Martin will be driving the #99 car together with two‑time German DTM title‑winner Marco Wittmann. These four drivers will all be competing at the ADAC 24h Nürburgring with the #98 BMW M4 GT3. The quartet of drivers for the #99 – Philipp Eng from Austria, Augusto Farfus from Brazil, Connor de Phillippi from the USA and Britain’s Nick Yelloly, are appearing next weekend in the IMSA series in Long Beach (USA).

The race day begins for ROWE RACING on Saturday with the 90‑minute qualifying session from 08:30 to 10:00. The four‑hour race then gets going at the traditional NLS start time of 12:00.

Hans-Peter Naundorf, Team Principal ROWE RACING: “Our top priority next Saturday is for both cars to complete the race without any mistakes, as we have not yet chalked up enough kilometres ahead of the ADAC 24h Nürburgring. We want to give our drivers as much time on the track as possible and also get the information we need about the tyres and the various setups. Due to other obligations for our BMW M works drivers, all four drivers who will be sitting in the #98 BMW M4 GT3 at the 24‑hour race are available this time. We will assign them to the two cars next Saturday. They will be competing against one another but will work together towards our shared objectives.”
