PREMA RACING- Valencia – F1 Academy Race Preview
PREMA Racing will be back on track with its new-for-2023 F1 Academy operation this weekend, competing in round 2 of the all-women championship in Valencia. Coming from the inaugural round of the series, the team hopes to carry the momentum into round 2 at the twisty Circuit Ricardo Tormo after capturing two poles and two wins at Barcelona.
Championship leader Marta Garcia will be racing only a few kilometres away from home and has already set her sights on another high-profile weekend.
Bianca Bustamante had a strong pace and posted a podium finish at Barcelona, but suffered from bad luck late in the weekend. The Filipino racer is determined to make a positive step and stay in the fight at the front end of the pack.
The same goes for Chloe Chong. The British-Canadian turned heads at her first race in single-seater by claiming a points finish in sixth and will be making more gains with her growing experience.
Rene Rosin – Team Principal
“We were delighted to see our drivers perform so brilliantly out of the box at Barcelona, and we definitely want that form to continue this weekend. We are all making progress in this new championship, and we cannot wait to see the team becoming stronger and stronger while achieving more great results along the way.”
