Pista – Kessel Racing: FACT SHEET
Kessel Racing is competing in the third round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, which takes place this week during the prestigious weekend of the 24 Hours of Le Mans this week. To mark the 15th anniversary of the Road to Le Mans race, the Swiss team has entered a third car, with drivers Orey Fidani (CAN) and Lars Kern (GER) joining the regular driver line-ups.
Kessel Racing has a special connection with the Le Mans racing circuit, not only for taking victory in the famous race in 2016. The relationship goes as far back as the late nineties when Loris Kessel took part in the legendary ’24 Hours’ at the wheel of Team Obermaier’s Porsche 962, crossing the finish line in seventh place.
